An authorized team member can invite you by email. Open ReelSports Gymnastics, go to your invitations, and accept the pending invitation. The invitation must match the verified email address on your account.
Gymnastics meets are often announced as a weekend or date window before an athlete's exact competition day is known. ReelSports can show a tentative range such as March 23–25 so families do not plan around a placeholder date. When the exact competition date is confirmed, an authorized team member can change the meet to a confirmed single date. Meet time can remain TBD even after the date is confirmed.
Owners, admins, coaches, management users, and parents can create team events such as birthday parties, dinners, or celebrations. The organizer can choose specific gymnasts and may also directly invite coaches and other eligible season members.
When a gymnast is invited, ReelSports sends the invitation to the gymnast's linked parent or guardian account(s). If no linked parent account can receive it, ReelSports can fall back to the gymnast's own linked account. A parent associated with multiple invited gymnasts can RSVP separately for each gymnast.
Yes. Going and Maybe events remain available in the Team Events area and can also appear on the Hub. Events marked Not Going are moved out of the main Hub invitation area but remain available in Team Events so the RSVP can be changed later. Event creators can view RSVP totals and responses according to the event's guest-list settings.
Each Team Event can have an event-specific chat. The organizer is included, and invited users who are Going or Maybe can be added automatically. If an attendee changes the relevant RSVP to Not Going and no qualifying RSVP remains for that account, access to the event chat may be removed.
Remote Video Device Mode lets one signed-in device act as the camera while another device signed into the same verified ReelSports account controls recording nearby. The nearby control connection is designed to keep working locally even when venue Internet is poor. The video device saves the recording locally first and can upload it through the ReelSports recording queue.
Remote Recording is included with any current ReelSports storage plan. Eligible complimentary storage grants can also unlock Remote Recording. If you do not have Remote Recording access, you can still use Local Recording on a single device.
Yes. From a meet, choose Local Recording. You can select the gymnast, event, and storage destination directly on the recording screen, record the routine, and continue to the next gymnast while earlier videos upload from the queue.
ReelSports first keeps a private local recording copy on the recording device. The upload queue prepares a smaller cloud copy for ReelSports media storage and uploads it to the selected storage account. Depending on your recording preferences, ReelSports can also save a separate copy to your Photos library and can remove its private local copy after a successful upload.
Every ReelSports account automatically receives 1 GB of included personal media storage across the account. The allowance is not multiplied by the number of teams or seasons. Your current usage and available capacity are shown in Settings → Storage.
Optional monthly plans provide Basic — 10 GB, Plus — 25 GB, Pro — 100 GB, or Elite — 500 GB of total ReelSports media storage. Current pricing and subscription terms are shown by Apple in the app before purchase. A paid plan's stated capacity replaces the included 1 GB limit rather than being added on top of it.
Basic is personal storage only. Plus, Pro, and Elite include team storage sharing for eligible season Owners and Admins, who can allow selected season members to upload using their storage.
Your paid capacity remains available through the end of the applicable paid period. If your stored media then exceeds your available capacity, ReelSports can place affected media into a 30-day retention period. During that time you can reduce usage, renew or upgrade, or allow an eligible season Owner/Admin to transfer at-risk team media to another storage account.
Active verified season members can view applicable team media through the app's authenticated playback flow. Download permissions are more limited. Owners, Admins, Coaches, Parents, and Management users may download team media. The original uploader and the storage owner also retain download rights when applicable. Gymnast and Supporter roles do not receive general download permission solely because of their role.
The Season Owner can permanently delete a season. ReelSports removes the season's memberships, gymnasts, meets, scores, medals, chats/messages, announcements, training notes, invitations, Team Events, and season media, and releases the ReelSports storage quota used by that media. This action cannot be undone.
Yes. Owners and Admins can choose from the supported preset Team Colors for a season. The selected theme is shared with season members and is used across supported season screens. ReelSports uses curated presets instead of arbitrary custom colors so controls remain readable.
Open Settings and choose Edit account from the account header. You can update your first and last name and add, replace, crop, or remove your profile picture.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password? and enter the email address used for your account. Follow the password-reset link sent through Firebase Authentication.
From your Seasons list, use the available Leave action for that season. You will lose access to the season and its team-only areas. If media uses your personal storage, leaving a season can place applicable media into a retention/transfer state. A season owner must transfer ownership or delete the season before leaving ownership behind.
Season information is shared only within the applicable team environment and according to role and feature permissions. Training notes are intended for authorized coaches and the linked gymnast, parent, or guardian recipients. Do not enter medical diagnoses, emergency medical instructions, passwords, financial information, or government identification numbers in training notes.
Use the Report option available on supported messages, profiles, announcements, training notes, photos, and videos. Direct-chat and member menus also provide blocking controls. Blocking limits private communication but does not remove either person from the team or hide official team records.
When Google requires a consent or privacy message, ReelSports displays it through Google's User Messaging Platform. When available, use the advertising privacy-options control in Settings. You can also review privacy and advertising settings on your Apple device.
Open Settings → Delete Account and follow the verification steps. Season Owners must transfer ownership or delete their owned seasons first. ReelSports removes your sign-in account and profile, removes your memberships, anonymizes retained team history where appropriate, and permanently removes quota-managed media that still uses your personal ReelSports storage. Team media that was transferred to another storage owner before deletion can remain with the team. See the Privacy Policy for details.
