How ReelSports handles information.

1. Overview and scope

ReelSports Gymnastics helps gymnastics teams manage seasons, team membership, gymnast profiles, meet date windows and confirmed dates, scores, medals, announcements, training notes, chats, Team Events and RSVPs, photos, videos, routine recording, and account-level media storage. This Privacy Policy applies to the ReelSports Gymnastics app and the support pages hosted at https://reelsports-support.pages.dev/.

For this policy, “ReelSports,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CSquared Creations. Team owners, coaches, administrators, management users, parents, guardians, athletes, gymnasts, and supporters are collectively called “users.”

2. Information we collect or process

Account and identity information

We process information needed to create and manage an account, such as your email address, Firebase user identifier, email-verification status, display name, profile photo, role, season memberships, notification preferences, account timestamps, and information needed to keep your account linked across ReelSports features.

Season, team, appearance, and invitation information

We process season names, team identifiers, ownership and role information, membership records, invitations and invitation status, the selected season Team Color preset, and other information needed to control access and present the applicable team environment.

Gymnast and team-performance information

Authorized users may enter gymnast names, level, active status, birthday, gymnast email, parent or guardian email addresses, profile photo, meet entries, tentative meet date ranges, confirmed dates, time status, locations/addresses, scores, placement, medals, routine information, and training notes. This information may concern minors. The person entering it must have authority to do so and should enter only information reasonably needed for legitimate team activity.

Team Events, invitations, and RSVPs

For team social or organizational events, we may process the event title, description, date and time, location name and address, organizer, selected invited gymnasts, directly invited season members such as coaches or supporters, resolved recipient accounts, RSVP status, who submitted a response, response timestamps, guest-list visibility choice, reminder state, and event-chat participation.

When a gymnast is invited, ReelSports can route the invitation to linked parent or guardian account(s), with a fallback to the gymnast's linked ReelSports account when no linked parent account can receive it. A parent or guardian associated with multiple invited gymnasts may submit a separate RSVP for each gymnast.

Communications and user-generated content

We process team and private chat messages, event-chat messages, coach announcements, training notes, Team Event details, report details, moderation decisions, and associated metadata such as author, sender, recipient, season, event, date, and time.

Photos, videos, and media metadata

When you choose to upload or record content, we process profile photos, gymnast photos, season photos, general videos, routine videos, thumbnails, file sizes, duration, upload status, uploader, selected storage owner, season, meet, gymnast, event, recording time, and related media metadata. ReelSports does not need unrestricted access to every photo or video on your device; it processes content you select, record, or save through supported workflows.

Media storage account and subscription information

ReelSports processes information needed to manage account-level media capacity, such as your storage quota, bytes used and reserved, media counts, season-by-season usage, storage-sharing permissions, selected upload destination, transfer/retention status, App Store product identifier, subscription status, subscription expiration, renewal status, purchase/transaction verification data, and a ReelSports app-account token used to associate eligible App Store subscription information with your ReelSports account.

Remote Video Device and local recording information

Remote Video Device Mode uses nearby-device discovery and a local network connection between compatible devices. ReelSports may use an app-specific device identifier, device name, remembered paired-device information, and an account-specific pairing secret to establish the nearby connection. Recording commands and status messages are encrypted. The pairing secret is stored in protected app storage on the device and is tied to the signed-in ReelSports account.

Safety and moderation information

Reports may include the reporter, reported user, report reason, optional explanation, content location, a limited snapshot of reported content, status, timestamps, moderator decisions, and audit history. Reports may be escalated to app-level moderators when necessary for safety or impartial review.

Device, notification, and diagnostic information

We process Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens so notifications can reach your devices. Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, device and operating-system details, app state, diagnostics, and the signed-in Firebase user identifier to help diagnose problems. ReelSports may also store local app preferences such as recording-queue settings, Wi-Fi-only upload preference, and remembered Remote Video Device information.

Advertising and consent information

ReelSports uses Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, device, consent choices, and ad-serving mode, Google and advertising partners may process IP address, device or advertising identifiers, general location derived from IP address, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, performance information, and consent choices.

Support website information

The static support pages supplied by CSquared Creations do not intentionally set analytics cookies or include tracking scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts the pages, may process IP address, request headers, security information, and technical logs needed to deliver and protect the website.

3. Information stored locally on your device

Some information remains on your device as part of normal app operation:

• Remote and local routine recordings are saved to ReelSports-private app storage before cloud upload so a routine is not lost simply because Internet service is poor.
• The recording queue can persist locally while uploads are waiting, preparing, uploading, completed, or failed.
• If you enable the option to save a recording to Photos, a separate copy is added to your Apple Photos library under the permissions you grant to iOS.
• If you enable deletion of the ReelSports local copy after successful upload, the app removes that private local recording after the cloud upload succeeds.
• Deleting a ReelSports account removes the app-private Remote Camera recording data associated with that account from the app's local storage. Copies you intentionally saved to Photos are outside ReelSports' private storage and are not deleted from Photos by account deletion.

4. How information is collected

• Directly from you when you register, edit your account, create or join a season, enter team information, create or respond to a Team Event, communicate, record or upload media, purchase storage, report content, or contact support.
• From other authorized team users who create or manage a gymnast profile, invitation, Team Event, RSVP recipient mapping, score, training note, announcement, or media item.
• Automatically from the app, device, Firebase, Google advertising services, Apple platform and purchase services, and Cloudflare when needed to provide, secure, diagnose, bill for, or support the service.

5. How we use information

• Create, authenticate, and secure accounts.
• Provide seasons, role-based membership, invitations, rosters, gymnast profiles, meet schedules/date windows, scores, medals, media, chat, announcements, training notes, Team Events, RSVPs, event chats, reminders, and Team Color preferences.
• Operate Remote Video Device Mode, local recording, upload queues, secure media playback/download, storage sharing, storage quota enforcement, and media transfers.
• Verify and maintain storage subscription entitlement and capacity through Apple StoreKit and server-side subscription status processing.
• Send account, team, chat, event, invitation, safety, storage, and activity notifications according to available preferences and permissions.
• Moderate content, investigate reports, prevent abuse, enforce community guidelines, and protect users.
• Display and measure advertising, obtain consent where required, and provide privacy choices.
• Diagnose errors, maintain reliability, provide support, and improve the app.
• Comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the rights and safety of users and others.

Where applicable, processing may be based on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent, or compliance with legal obligations.

6. Who can see information inside ReelSports

ReelSports is a team environment rather than a public social network. Information is generally available only to authenticated users with access to the applicable season or feature. Visibility depends on the user's role, the type of information, invitation status, guest-list setting, and the app's access rules.

• Season members may see team rosters, limited member profile information, meets, scores, medals, and team content needed for app functionality.
• Private chat content is intended for the participants in that chat.
• Training notes are intended for authorized coaches and the linked gymnast, parent, or guardian recipient(s).
• Team Event details are intended for the organizer and resolved invitee accounts. Event guest-list responses are visible according to the organizer's guest-list privacy choice.
• Event-chat access is controlled separately and can follow Going/Maybe RSVP participation.
• Active verified season members can view applicable team media through authenticated playback. General download rights are limited to Owner, Admin, Coach, Parent, and Management roles, while the original uploader and storage owner can also retain applicable download rights.
• Team moderators may review reports for their season. A reported moderator cannot review the report against them.
• App moderators may review escalated reports, reports involving owners, serious safety concerns, and profile-level issues.

Do not upload information that should not be shared with the applicable team audience. ReelSports is not designed to store medical records, emergency medical instructions, passwords, payment-card details, or government identification numbers.

7. Media storage, purchases, and retention

Included storage

Every ReelSports account automatically receives 1 GB of included personal media storage across the account. The allowance is not multiplied by the number of teams or seasons. Your current usage and available capacity are shown in the app under Settings → Storage. Some users may also be able to upload using storage shared by an eligible season Owner or Admin.

Optional paid storage

ReelSports supports monthly Basic (10 GB), Plus (25 GB), Pro (100 GB), and Elite (500 GB) storage tiers purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. These tiers represent total account capacity rather than capacity added on top of the included 1 GB allowance. The App Store displays the current price and purchase terms before you confirm a transaction.

Apple processes billing and payment credentials. ReelSports receives purchase/subscription verification and status information needed to grant and maintain the correct storage entitlement; ReelSports does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.

Storage sharing

Basic is personal storage only. Plus, Pro, and Elite include team storage sharing for eligible season Owners and Admins, who can allow selected season members to upload using the Owner/Admin's ReelSports storage. Eligible complimentary storage grants may also support storage sharing when configured by ReelSports. ReelSports records which storage account owns each quota-managed media item so quota, access, transfer, retention, and deletion can be enforced.

30-day retention for at-risk storage

If a subscription expires, capacity is reduced, or certain team-membership changes leave media above the storage account's available capacity, ReelSports can mark affected media as at risk and protect it for a 30-day retention period. During that period, the user can reduce usage, renew or upgrade, or an eligible season Owner/Admin can transfer qualifying team media to another ReelSports storage account.

8. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to service providers that process it to provide the app and website:

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud: Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, security, and related infrastructure. Media created before ReelSports' Cloudflare R2 storage transition may remain in Firebase Cloud Storage so existing content continues to work. • Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform: Advertising, consent management, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. See How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• Apple: App distribution, in-app storage subscription purchases, subscription status, App Store server notifications, push-notification delivery, Photos permissions, mapping/platform services, and other iOS services. See the Apple Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: Delivery and security of the public support, privacy, and safety pages, plus ReelSports media infrastructure including Cloudflare Workers and R2 object storage used for new quota-managed media uploads, secure media access, transfers, and deletion. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

User-entered meet or Team Event addresses may be sent to Apple mapping/geocoding services when a user chooses to view or open that location. ReelSports does not need to request your device's precise GPS position merely to display a user-entered event or meet address.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, investigate fraud or abuse, protect a person from harm, enforce our policies, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

9. Advertising and privacy choices

ReelSports displays Google AdMob advertising in supported areas of the app. Google may provide personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ad delivery depending on consent, region, app configuration, and applicable law. ReelSports suppresses ad requests for Gymnast accounts determined to be under 18; if the app cannot verify the required Gymnast age/linkage information, it also suppresses ad requests for that account. CSquared Creations does not sell personal information for money.

When available, you may review advertising privacy choices in the ReelSports Settings screen. You may also manage device-level privacy and advertising settings through iOS. Choices involving Google-controlled data are handled under Google's policies and consent tools.

ReelSports does not use its own first-party app code to intentionally track you across other companies' apps or websites. Third-party advertising data practices can vary based on Google SDK configuration, consent choices, region, and Google's current policies.

10. Children and minor athletes

ReelSports supports teams that may include minor athletes, but the service is not intended for a child under 13 to independently create and manage an account without appropriate parent, guardian, and team authorization. Parents, guardians, coaches, and team administrators who enter information about a minor must have authority to provide it and should limit it to information needed for legitimate team operations.

Team Events can include social-event addresses, dates, and attendance information. Organizers and invitees should treat this information as private team information and should avoid sharing a child's location or schedule beyond the intended audience.

If you believe information about a child was entered without appropriate authorization, contact us promptly. We will review the request, verify authority where appropriate, and delete or restrict information when required.

Important: Do not use ReelSports for medical records, emergency response instructions, or highly sensitive identifiers. Use established team and medical channels for emergency or health-critical information.

11. Data retention, deletion, and transfers

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain appropriate team history, investigate safety concerns, prevent abuse, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by data type and team activity.

In-app account deletion

You can request deletion through Settings → Delete Account. A Season Owner must first transfer ownership of each owned season or permanently delete the season. The deletion workflow removes the Firebase Authentication account, private account record, memberships, invitations, and other account-specific records covered by the deletion process.

Media using your storage at account deletion

Quota-managed media that still uses the deleting account's ReelSports storage is permanently removed as part of account deletion. Before deletion, the user can review/download their stored media and can offer qualifying team media for transfer to season Owners/Admins. Offering media for transfer does not itself move the media and does not create a post-deletion grace period. A copy that was successfully transferred to another storage owner before account deletion can remain with the team under the new storage owner.

Historical team content

Messages, announcements, training notes, scores, medals, meet records, Team Event records, and similar team history may be retained in anonymized or de-identified form when needed to keep legitimate season records coherent, subject to feature-specific deletion and moderation behavior.

Season deletion

The Season Owner can permanently delete a season. The current secure season-deletion workflow removes the season's media, storage accounting/reservations, gymnasts, notes, meets, scores, medals, chats/messages, memberships, invitations, announcements, Team Event data, retention records, and the season record. Restricted safety/moderation audit records may be retained when reasonably necessary.

Explicit media deletion

When an authorized user explicitly deletes quota-managed media, ReelSports removes the media from app access and releases its ReelSports quota. Cloud-storage backup, soft-delete, or disaster-recovery copies may remain temporarily under the provider's configured recovery systems and are not available as normal in-app media.

Safety records

Safety reports, evidence snapshots, and moderation audit records may be retained after account or season deletion and may be anonymized or access-restricted. They are retained only as reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement.

Provider-held information

Google, Apple, Cloudflare, and other providers retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations. Deleting ReelSports or your ReelSports account may not immediately delete information independently controlled or temporarily retained by those providers.

12. Security

We use safeguards such as authenticated access, verified email accounts, role-based permissions, Firebase Security Rules, server-managed sensitive operations, storage quota reservations, restricted moderation access, encrypted network transport, and short-lived secure media links for quota-managed cloud media. Current secure media links are designed to expire after a limited period rather than acting as permanent public URLs.

Remote Video Device control messages use an account-specific pairing key and authenticated encryption. A device signed into a different ReelSports account does not have the same pairing secret and cannot normally decrypt those nearby control messages.

No electronic system or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe your account or team data has been compromised, contact us and change your password promptly.

13. International processing

Google, Apple, Cloudflare, and their service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy documentation describes applicable transfer safeguards. By using ReelSports, you understand that information may be processed where these providers and their infrastructure operate, subject to applicable law.

14. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or information about processing. You may also be able to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

• Update available profile information and profile photo in the app.
• Leave seasons you no longer belong to, subject to ownership and storage-retention requirements.
• Manage notification permissions in iOS and available notification preferences in ReelSports.
• Manage available advertising privacy choices in the app and on your device.
• Change Team Event RSVPs that remain available to your account.
• Review, download, delete, transfer-offer, or manage quota-controlled media where your permissions allow.
• Block users, hide supported content, submit reports, and review the status of your reports.
• Delete your account in the app or email us for assistance.

15. U.S. state privacy notice

Depending on applicable law, categories processed may include identifiers, account information, purchase/subscription history, internet or device activity, approximate location inferred from IP address by service providers, user-entered meet/event locations, photos and videos, communications, team-performance records, attendance/RSVP information, and other user content. Sources include users, authorized team administrators, devices, Apple, Google/Firebase, advertising providers, and other service providers described above.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising providers may process information for ad delivery, measurement, and related purposes. Depending on applicable state law and configuration, some advertising activity may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising. Use the available in-app advertising privacy controls and contact us with questions or requests.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features, service providers, safety systems, subscription/storage practices, retention practices, or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date and publish the revised policy on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate method.
