Privacy Policy

How ReelSports handles information.

This policy explains the information collected and processed through the ReelSports Gymnastics mobile app and this support website.

1. Overview and scope

ReelSports Gymnastics helps gymnastics teams manage seasons, team membership, gymnast profiles, meets, scores, medals, announcements, training notes, chats, photos, and videos. This Privacy Policy applies to the ReelSports Gymnastics app and the support pages hosted at https://reelsports-support.pages.dev/.

For this policy, “ReelSports,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CSquared Creations. Team owners, coaches, administrators, management users, parents, guardians, athletes, and supporters are collectively called “users.”

2. Information we collect or process

Account and identity information

We process information needed to create and manage an account, such as your email address, Firebase user identifier, email-verification status, display name, profile photo, role, season memberships, notification preferences, and account timestamps.

Season, team, and invitation information

We process season names, team identifiers, ownership and role information, membership records, invitations, invitation status, and other information needed to control access to a season.

Gymnast and team-performance information

Authorized users may enter gymnast names, level, active status, birthday, gymnast email, parent or guardian email addresses, profile photo, meet entries, scores, placement, medals, routine information, and training notes. This information may concern minors. The person entering it must have authority to do so and should enter only information reasonably needed for legitimate team activity.

Communications and user-generated content

We process chat messages, coach announcements, training notes, report details, moderation decisions, and associated metadata such as author, sender, recipient, season, date, and time.

Photos and videos

When you choose to upload content, we process profile photos, gymnast photos, season photos, general videos, and routine videos. The app may also request permission to save selected media to your device's Photos library. ReelSports does not need unrestricted access to every photo or video on your device; it processes content you select or create through the app's supported workflows.

Safety and moderation information

Reports may include the reporter, reported user, report reason, optional explanation, content location, a limited snapshot of reported content, status, timestamps, moderator decisions, and audit history. Reports may be escalated to app-level moderators when necessary for safety or impartial review.

Device, notification, and diagnostic information

We process Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens so notifications can reach your devices. Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, device and operating-system details, app state, diagnostics, and the signed-in Firebase user identifier to help diagnose problems.

Advertising and consent information

ReelSports uses Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, device, consent choices, and ad-serving mode, Google and advertising partners may process IP address, device or advertising identifiers, general location derived from IP address, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, performance information, and consent choices.

Support website information

The static support pages supplied by CSquared Creations do not intentionally set analytics cookies or include tracking scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts the pages, may process IP address, request headers, security information, and technical logs needed to deliver and protect the website.

3. How information is collected

  • Directly from you when you register, create a season, join a team, enter team information, communicate, upload media, report content, or contact support.
  • From other authorized team users who create or manage a gymnast profile, invitation, score, training note, announcement, or media item.
  • Automatically from the app, device, Firebase, Google advertising services, Apple notification services, and Cloudflare when needed to provide, secure, diagnose, or support the service.

4. How we use information

  • Create, authenticate, and secure accounts.
  • Provide seasons, role-based membership, invitations, rosters, gymnast profiles, meets, scores, medals, media, chat, announcements, and training notes.
  • Send account, team, chat, invitation, safety, and activity notifications according to available preferences.
  • Moderate content, investigate reports, prevent abuse, enforce community guidelines, and protect users.
  • Display and measure advertising, obtain consent where required, and provide privacy choices.
  • Diagnose errors, maintain reliability, provide support, and improve the app.
  • Comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the rights and safety of users and others.

Where applicable, processing may be based on performing our service contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent, or compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who can see information inside ReelSports

ReelSports is a team environment rather than a public social network. Information is generally available only to authenticated users with access to the applicable season or feature. Visibility depends on the user's role, the type of information, and the app's access rules.

  • Season members may see team rosters, limited member profile information, meets, scores, medals, and team content needed for app functionality.
  • Private chat content is intended for the participants in that chat.
  • Training notes are intended for authorized coaches and linked gymnasts, parents, or guardians.
  • Team moderators may review reports for their season. A reported moderator cannot review the report against them.
  • App moderators may review escalated reports, reports involving owners, serious safety concerns, and profile-level issues.

Do not upload information that should not be shared with the applicable team audience. ReelSports is not designed to store medical records, emergency medical instructions, passwords, payment-card details, or government identification numbers.

6. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to service providers that process it to provide the app and website:

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, investigate fraud or abuse, protect a person from harm, enforce our policies, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

7. Advertising and privacy choices

ReelSports displays Google AdMob banner advertising in supported areas of the app. Google may provide personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ad delivery depending on consent, region, app configuration, and applicable law. CSquared Creations does not sell personal information for money.

When available, you may review advertising privacy choices in the ReelSports Settings screen. You may also manage device-level privacy and advertising settings through iOS. Choices involving Google-controlled data are handled under Google's policies and consent tools.

ReelSports' own code does not intentionally access the Apple advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. Third-party advertising disclosures can vary as Google updates its SDKs and ad-serving practices.

8. Children and minor athletes

ReelSports supports teams that may include minor athletes, but the service is not intended for a child under 13 to independently create and manage an account without appropriate parent, guardian, and team authorization. Parents, guardians, coaches, and team administrators who enter information about a minor must have authority to provide it and should limit it to information needed for legitimate team operations.

If you believe information about a child was entered without appropriate authorization, contact us promptly. We will review the request, verify authority where appropriate, and delete or restrict information when required.

Important: Do not use ReelSports for medical records, emergency response instructions, or highly sensitive identifiers. Use established team and medical channels for emergency or health-critical information.

9. Data retention and account deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain team history, investigate safety concerns, prevent abuse, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by data type and team activity.

In-app account deletion

You can request deletion through Settings → Delete Account. A season owner must transfer ownership or otherwise handle the season first. The deletion process removes the Firebase Authentication account, private account record, memberships, invitations, and other account-specific records covered by the app's deletion workflow.

Historical team content

Messages, announcements, training notes, scores, medals, meet records, and similar team history may be retained in anonymized or de-identified form so a season's records and conversations remain coherent.

Uploaded team media

Under the current ReelSports retention design, account deletion does not automatically remove photos or videos previously uploaded to a team. The media may remain available to authorized season members. A moderator can remove reported media, and you may contact us to request review and removal of specific media.

Safety records

Safety reports, evidence snapshots, and moderation audit records may be retained after account deletion and may be anonymized or access-restricted. They are retained only as reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement.

Provider-held information

Google, Apple, Cloudflare, and other providers retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations. Deleting ReelSports or your ReelSports account may not delete information controlled independently by those providers.

10. Security

We use safeguards such as authenticated access, verified email accounts, role-based permissions, Firebase Security Rules, server-managed sensitive operations, restricted moderation access, and encrypted network transport. No electronic system or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

If you believe your account or team data has been compromised, contact us and change your password promptly.

11. International processing

Google, Apple, Cloudflare, and their service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy documentation describes applicable transfer safeguards. By using ReelSports, you understand that information may be processed where these providers and their infrastructure operate, subject to applicable law.

12. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or information about processing. You may also be able to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

  • Update available profile information in the app.
  • Leave seasons you no longer belong to, subject to owner-transfer requirements.
  • Manage notification permissions in iOS and available notification preferences in ReelSports.
  • Manage available advertising privacy choices in the app and on your device.
  • Block users, hide supported content, submit reports, and review the status of your reports.
  • Delete your account in the app or email us for assistance.

To make a privacy request, email Csquaredcreations26@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority regarding a minor or team record. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

13. U.S. state privacy notice

Depending on applicable law, categories processed may include identifiers, account information, internet or device activity, approximate location inferred from IP address by service providers, photos and videos, communications, team-performance records, and other user content. Sources include users, authorized team administrators, devices, and service providers. Uses and recipient categories are described above.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising providers may process information for ad delivery, measurement, and related purposes. Depending on applicable state law and configuration, some advertising activity may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising. Use the available in-app advertising privacy controls and contact us with questions or requests.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features, service providers, safety systems, retention practices, or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date and publish the revised policy on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate method.
