Safety & Community Guidelines

Keep team spaces respectful and safe.

These guidelines apply to chats, profiles, announcements, training notes, photos, videos, and other content shared through ReelSports Gymnastics.

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Emergency notice: ReelSports reporting and email support are not emergency services. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate authority.

Respect people

Do not bully, harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, discriminate against, impersonate, or organize abuse against another person.

Protect children

Never share sexual content involving minors, solicit inappropriate contact, or expose private athlete information without authority.

Keep it team-appropriate

Do not post explicit sexual content, graphic violence, hate speech, scams, spam, or content unrelated to legitimate team activity.

Community rules

Treat people with respect

Communicate professionally and constructively. Disagreements do not justify abusive language, threats, retaliation, or targeted humiliation.

Protect private information

Do not post home addresses, passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, private contact information, medical records, or media you do not have permission to share. Limit information about minors to what is necessary for legitimate team operations.

Keep content appropriate

Do not share sexual or exploitative material, graphic violence, hate or discriminatory content, fraudulent solicitations, malware, spam, or content designed to evade moderation. Automated screening may reject content that appears to violate these rules.

Use team data responsibly

Do not download, copy, publish, or redistribute team photos, videos, rosters, scores, or private communications outside the intended team context without appropriate permission.

Reporting a concern

Use the in-app Report option on supported messages, member profiles, announcements, training notes, photos, and videos. Available report reasons include child safety, bullying or harassment, threats or violence, inappropriate or sexual content, hate or discrimination, privacy concerns, spam or scams, and other concerns.

For supported content, Report and Hide can immediately hide the item from your own view while preserving it for review. The reported person is not told who submitted the report.

Include enough information to locate and understand the concern, but do not add unnecessary private information about a child. Do not email passwords, payment-card numbers, or government identification numbers.

Blocking

Blocking is a personal communication control. It can prevent new direct/private contact, hide an existing direct conversation, suppress ordinary team-chat messages from the blocked person for the blocker, and reduce related notifications.

Blocking does not remove either person from a season, hide official team records, hide system messages, hide coach announcements, or automatically hide training notes. Team owners and authorized administrators may still need to communicate official operational information.

Blocked users can be reviewed and unblocked under Settings → Safety → Blocked Users.

How moderation works

Owners, admins, coaches, and management users may review appropriate reports for their season. App moderators may review escalated reports, reports involving a season owner, serious child-safety or threat reports, and profile-level concerns. A person who is the subject of a report cannot review or resolve that report.

Depending on the report and moderator permissions, possible actions include:

Users may contact Safety Support if they believe a moderation decision was made in error.

Report and evidence retention

A safety report may contain a limited snapshot of reported content so the concern can be reviewed even if visible content later changes. Moderation decisions are logged for safety, audit, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

After account deletion, retained reports may be anonymized rather than immediately deleted. Under the current account-deletion design, uploaded team media is not automatically removed. A moderator may remove specific reported media, and users may contact Safety Support to request review of a specific item.

See the Privacy Policy's retention and account-deletion section for more information.
